Ancient of Days
April 2019 – For the FIRST TIME in history, an entire concert devoted to the performance of music by one of Canada’s greatest composers, Dr. Allan Bevan.
The concert featured the much-anticipated world premiere of “Ancient of Days“, commissioned by Edmonton Metropolitan Chorus – a multi-media work for chorus, orchestra, soloists, and actors, based upon the ideas, poetry, and visual art of the English mystic, William Blake.

Carmina Burana

Edmonton Metropolitan Chorus at Carnegie Hall
March 2016 – Edmonton Metropolitan Chorus performed the New York premiere of Allan Bevan’s “Nou Goth” in Carnegie Hall, as part of Distinguished Concerts International New York production, “Between Heaven and Earth”.

W. A. Mozart “Requiem” & Allan Bevan “Nou Goth”
February 2016 – Edmonton Metropolitan Chorus presented, W. A. Mozart’s “Requiem” and Allan Bevan’s “Nou Goth” at the Winspear Centre for Music. Guests artistis included i Coristi Chamber Choir, Edmonton Metropolitan Orchestra, Tony Olivares Dance, and FlyFree Movement. Vue Weekly published a preview, “Mozart meets parkour? The Wizardry of Worthington
November 2015 – Edmonton Metropolitan Chorus presented, “The Wizardry of Worthington: Music from the Magical Mind of a Crafty Composer” (the world’s first all-Worthington concert).
